This website runs on a server hosted by IONOS SE in Germany. Necessary connection data, including IP address, time, requested URL, and browser information, is processed to deliver and protect the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Access logs are deleted after seven days.
Error reports from Lexip
Reports are transmitted only after you explicitly choose to send them. They include your description, game version, language, and a random report identifier. You may add technical diagnostics, sanitized error text, and a screenshot of the game. You can review the selected contents before sending. Please do not enter passwords, credentials, or unnecessary personal information. Processing serves to investigate your report and improve game stability (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contact form
When you submit the contact form, we store your message, email address, optional name, selected language, and a random enquiry identifier. We use these details to handle your enquiry and reply by email. Please only provide information needed for your enquiry. Contact enquiries follow the same access and retention rules as error reports.
Streamer requests
For key requests, we also store your channel URL, the number of keys requested and your acceptance of the publication requirement, including the guide version, alongside the contact form details. These details are used to review and handle your key request. No connection to your Twitch or YouTube account is established. The same access and retention rules as for contact enquiries apply.
Access and retention
Only the operator can access reports and images through the protected admin area. Reports are deleted no later than 180 days after receipt. To limit abusive requests, a temporary IP identifier derived using a secret key is stored separately from reports. Expired counters are removed during daily maintenance. Database backups are kept for seven days, so deleted contents may remain in backups for up to seven additional days.
Preferences and admin sessions
Your explicit light or dark theme choice is stored locally in your browser. When you dismiss the privacy notice with “Got it”, we also save this locally (local storage) so it stays hidden on future visits. These entries remain until you clear the website data in your browser. Admin authentication uses a necessary session cookie that expires after no more than eight hours. These functions provide the preference or protected access you expressly requested. No advertising or analytics cookies are used.
Videos and external links
Trailers, images, and fonts are served without external video or analytics embeds. When you follow a link to Steam, that provider’s privacy policy applies.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and receive portable personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Please include your report ID when making an enquiry about a report. You may complain to a supervisory authority, including the Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
